All Saints

This fall, The Art Spark will teach art classes after school on Tuesdays at All Saints! Class will be immediately after school, from 3:15-4:15.

Things to note:

  1. The school year will be divided up into different themed sessions.
  2. Classes will be held in the art room.
  3. From 3:00-3:15 children can bring a snack to eat in the art room with The Art Spark teachers that is nut-free.
  4. Feel free to come in the lab after our classes and see what we have worked on! (Projects are frequently wet or in progress and can’t be taken home the same day.)
  5. If you are running late or have a sick child, please be sure to text Miss Emily at 513-324-2025.

*If there is a snow day, class will be cancelled that day. A credit for your class will roll over to the next session. We do not refund snow days.

New Class Session: Jan 23, Jan 30, Feb 6, 13, 20, 27 & Mar 6
Cost: $98.00 (7 weeks)

Class Theme Description: Winter Wonderland
Each week Sparklers will focus on creating a snow-related project using new materials each week! This frosty winter has us feeling inspired!
Weeks 1: Snow Slime
Sparklers will mix a variety of materials to create SNOW SLIME! We will then decorate containers to keep our very special slime in.
Week 2: Soap Sculpture SnowmenSparklers will use a food processor to grind up soap (with the help of The Art Spark teachers). We will then work to sculpt our soap into adorable snowpeople. These fun sculptures will serve as a functional soap bar at home as well!
Weeks 3: Watercolor Northern Lights Painting
We will start out this lesson by learning the science behind the Northern Lights. We will then try out different watercolor techniques to paint a beautiful scene!
Week 4 & 5: Snow Globes
Sparklers will sculpt a beautiful wintery scene with sculptures from their imagination. Will they want a Narwhal? Snow Unicorn? Snow birds? Mountains? Sparklers will show their favorite parts of the cold as they work to create a beautiful snow globe!
Week 6: Snow Monster Puppets
Sparklers will work to create a snow puppet. We will talk about different snow creatures: snow monsters, snowmen, and snow bunnies and then each create a very unique sock puppet!
Week 7: Mystery Surprise
