This fall, The Art Spark will teach art classes after school on Tuesdays at All Saints! Class will be immediately after school, from 3:15-4:15.
Things to note:
- The school year will be divided up into different themed sessions.
- Classes will be held in the art room.
- From 3:00-3:15 children can bring a snack to eat in the art room with The Art Spark teachers that is nut-free.
- Feel free to come in the lab after our classes and see what we have worked on! (Projects are frequently wet or in progress and can’t be taken home the same day.)
- If you are running late or have a sick child, please be sure to text Miss Emily at 513-324-2025.
*If there is a snow day, class will be cancelled that day. A credit for your class will roll over to the next session. We do not refund snow days.

Class Theme Description: Art Explorers
Each week Sparklers will explore new methods in Art! They will discover different art materials and learn how to effectively use them each week. They will then brainstorm what kinds of unique projects they can create with the process they have explored!
Weeks 2: Wonderful Weaving We will be seeing what we can create when we practice patience & master the art of weaving. A book cover? Pencil case? Purse? Pillow? It’s up to the Sparklers to decide!
Weeks 3: Tie Dye Tricks This class will teach Sparklers the coolest tips and tricks in tie dye!
Week 4: Wacky Watercolors Salt, crayon, rubbing alcohol, and sharpies can all be incorporated with watercolors to make some amazing art! Sparklers will try out these various techniques to make their own unique work of art!
Weeks 5 & 6: Stuffed Animal Creators We will brainstorm different ways to create stuffed animals before using fabric, stuffing, and more to create one-of-a-kind stuffed animals!

Class Theme Description: Draw, Plan, Sculpt
Each week Sparklers will explore new methods in sculpting. We will begin each class with learning a new sculpting technique. We will draw a plan, and then get to work making unique 3-dimensional projects!
Week 1&2:Birds Sparklers will imagine a bird unlike any other! They will first draw their bird before using clay to sculpt their bird. They will then paint and embellish their birds with a variety of materials.
Weeks 3: Plush Pumpkins Sparklers will use fabric to create a stuffed pumpkin. They will use found art materials to turn their pumpkin into a fun & spooky jack-o-lantern!
Week 4: Name Signs We will begin by learning how to create and customize letters using sculpey. We will then create slabs and adhere our letters to the signs!
Weeks 5 & 6: Plaster Bowls We will work quickly and learn how plaster sets as we sculpt our very own bowls using plaster. We will also press decorative materials into the plaster as it sets. The following week we will complete our bowl using paint, glitter, mod podge, and much more!
How do I sign-up?
Enrolling your child is easy on our website. Please enroll below. Our classes usually fill, so be sure to sign-up early to secure your spot!
How do I pay?
Please make a check out to: All Saints and give it to us, (The Art Spark teachers) the first day of each session. The total will vary based on the length of the session. The cost is $14 per class. Each session will be approximately 6 weeks long. There are no classes the week of Thanksgiving. Enroll for the entire year and receive a discount. You will not need to fill this form out again if you select & pay for the entire year.
Where do I pick-up?
Please allow us the full amount of time to wrap up projects. Once class is over at 4:15, we will pack up and dismiss students to parents at the side entrance near the art room. (Across from gym and garden area.)
What kinds of projects will you be doing?
Classes will be split up into sessions based on different themes. At the beginning of each class we will ask questions, diagram ideas, and brainstorm solutions to create unique projects. Children will use a plethora of art materials including but not limited to: oil pastels, watercolor, colored pencils, crayons, markers, felt, paper mache, clay, model magic, and more!
What should I do if I know my child is going to miss a class?
If you know in advance that your child will not be able to make it to specific classes, please let us know before the session begins and we will prorate the session for you. If your child misses a class unexpectedly due to illness or a change of events, schedule a make-up class for your child to attend at our studio. You can choose a class to attend for a make-up from our class schedule . Please send us an e-mail or give us a phone call to let us know when you would like your child to come in. We will not refund for classes missed unexpectedly.
