Classes inside Rockwern Academy are open to the public. We call this studio our home and teach students ages 3-12 years here.
*Please do not prop the door when you come in, or for other parents. It is important to keep the building secure.
Schedule
Our fourth session will be eight weeks long. This session will begin on Monday February 18th and go until Friday April 12th. If you have a group interested in setting up a class (minimum of 4), please contact us and we will see if we can work with your schedule.

What do I do if my I know my child is going to miss a class?
If you know in advance that your child will not be able to make it to specific classes, please let us know before the session begins and we will prorate the session for you. If your child misses a class unexpectedly due to illness or a change of events, schedule a make-up class for your child to attend. You can choose a class to attend for a make-up from our class schedule on our website. Please send us an e-mail or give us a phone call to let us know when you would like your child to come in. We will not refund for classes missed unexpectedly.
All classes are check or cash only to be paid the first day of class, or mailed to our address.

Art Explorers
For this session Sparklers will explore a variety of different landscapes that the world has to offer. Each week Sparklers will explore a new landscape that has been created inside The Art Spark studio. One week we could be cave exploring, and the next riding on a giant polar bear in a frozen tundra. Sparklers won’t be surprised to see sand on the floor, and touch ponds full of sea life! Once we have explored this new landscape, we’ll create art inspired from what we learn off the land.

Advanced Sparklers 8 +
Our Advanced Sparklers class is an opportunity for our older students to explore a variety of art processes and enhance their skills. The first half of class is focused around a specific skills such as sketching, and the second hour is time for the students to explore and focus on any form of art they desire. During this time they may pursue any idea, skill, or project with the help and encouragement of the teachers. Enroll
Homeschool Classes
During our homeschool classes students will get to experience a wide variety of artists, techniques, and skills. Students will explore diverse artists through out history such as Claus Oldenberg, Monet, Mondrian, and many more!Enroll
What is the teacher to student ratio?
5 students to 1 teacher.
What kinds of projects will you be doing?
The projects will be guided by the child’s creativity and individual ideas. As teachers, we have flexible plans that can be altered and changed based on the child’s interest, creativity and problem solving. When doing specific projects, we will review and refine basic art skills with our students. However, we will always focus more on process rather than product in our studio. We offer developing artists the tools to continue learning.
