What Is the Theme?
Big City Builders
For this six week session, your 5-9 year old sparklers will be creating huge skyscrapers, tiny citizens, and big businesses.

Weeks 1+ 2: Map Making
Will our cities include windy roads? Skyscrapers? What about lakes? Or a museum?
We will be making both 2D and 3D maps using materials like paint, model magic, plaster, and more!

Weeks 2 + 3: Recycled Buildings
We will learn about the importance of recycling while making our own storefronts and skyscrapers using cartons, boxes, and tins!

Week 4: Row House Drawings
We will learn an easy way to draw buildings with one point perspective. Then we will use sharpies, colorful paints, and even glitter to decorate our houses.

Week 6: Toilet Paper People
We will create our own citizens to put in our city using something silly- toilet paper rolls! We will use yarn, paint, markers, pipe cleaners, and much much more!
