Art Club
If your child loves learning and refining new techniques in art; this is the time and place to take their creations to new heights. This year's schedule will look a little different than last due to how popular the club was for both ages! Art Club will now be hosted at the following times:
Schedule Begins the week of Tuesday, September 8th 2026
Mondays// Art Club for 9-13 years//6-7:30 PM (Same class as Tuesday—now offered at a second time to fit your schedule!)
Tuesdays// Beginner Art Club for 4-6 years// 4:30-5:30 PM
Tuesdays// Art Club for 9-13 years //6-7:30 PM
Thursdays// Jr. Art Club for 6-8 years// 4:30-5:45 PM
When you purchase an Art Club pass you can use it for any of the above classes. Each art club starts with a demonstration by an instructor of a new technique in art. Students will then have the opportunity to create art inspired by that new technique. We will also center our If artists want to continue working on previous projects, they may also do that. Students will be encouraged to come up with their own unique ideas and to persevere with the types of art that they find most interesting, while also consistently being presented with different art forms they may not have tried yet. This program begins the Tuesday after Labor Day (September 4, 2025) and is sold as a punch pass. Students can come every Monday (Art Club 9-13 yrs.), Tuesday (Beginner Art Club (4-6 yrs.) and Art Club (9-13 yrs.) and Thursday (Jr. Art Club (6-8 yrs.), or whenever it works for their schedule. Each month we will focus on two specific techniques.
Punch Pass
The punch pass means that you can attend any art club class on any Monday, Tuesday or Thursday beginning September 2026 (beginning the week of labor day). You don't have to tell us which day you will be coming-the pass is flexible for your schedule! Each time your child comes to class and signs in on our kiosk one of the passes will be "punched". As your pass begins to run out you will receive an e-mail reminder if you'd like to purchase another.

Beginner Art Club Tuesdays 4:30-5:30 PM (4-6 yrs.) Monthly Themes
September/October:
Theme: Drawing
Techniques to Explore: dot drawing, drawing to music, pattern making, mirror self portraits, texture rubbings, resist oil pastel and watercolor drawing, drip paint monster drawings, etc.
November/ December:
Theme: Mixed Media Crafting
Techniques to Explore: painting wooden objects, bedazzling picture frames, tissue paper decoupage, beaded jewelry, shrink-dink bookmarks, paper weaving, etc.
January/February:
Theme: Painting
Techniques to Explore: canvas painting, squeegee art, group mural painting, shaving cream and paint, watercolor and salt paintings, etc.
March/April/May:
Theme: Sculpture
Techniques to Explore: clay pinch pots, Model Magic, Sculpey, salt dough, plaster, etc.

Every two months we will focus on different themes and art techniques. We know families have busy schedules! That's why our Art Club Class Pass offers the flexibility to fit art into your routine. Although students can attend as their schedule permits, we encourage attending for at least one consecutive month to get the most out of each project and ensure they have enough time to complete their artwork. Students will also have the chance to display their favorite creations in our annual December Art Show and May Art Show, celebrating their growth and creativity throughout the year.
September/October:
Theme: Drawing
Techniques to Explore: still life drawing, character sketch study, figure drawing, landscapes, reductive drawing, shading and gradation, colored pencil techniques, chalk and oil pastel techniques, coloring book design, etc.
November/ December:
Theme: Mixed Media Crafting
Techniques to Explore: painted wooden objects, decoupage, collage, weaving and other fiber arts, beaded jewelry and vessels, etc.
January/February:
Theme: Painting
Techniques to Explore: acrylic paint on canvas, landscape paintings, portrait paintings, impasto painting, painting on glass, painting on fabric, watercolors, etc.
March/April/May:
Theme: Sculpture
Techniques to Explore: clay sculptures, Model Magic sculpting, Sculpey creations, paper mache, wire sculpture, etc.

Can I bring a friend with my pass?
No, but classes can be purchased a la carte in studio only for $35.
Does my pass expire?
Yes, Art Club ends May 21. Pass is void after this date. If you run out, you can purchase more online.

Do I need to stay?
No, this is a drop-off program.
What should my child wear?
Clothes they can get messy in. We will be using permanent inks, dyes, and paints in this class.
