Winter Camps 2026-2027
Children ages 3-5 years, 5-10 years, and 9-13 years
Winter camps at The Art Spark are a unique opportunity for your child to engage with art materials in a variety of ways including painting, clay sculpture, drawing, recyclable art, and more! Camps at The Art Spark begin with brainstorming sessions and are fueled by your child's creativity and ideas. Each camp is sold a la carte. That means you can sign up for one morning, an afternoon, full days, or multiple days! It's easy to add lunch to your child's morning camp in our customer portal. Winter camps will fill quickly and have limited space so be sure to secure your spot today! All camps include all art materials and a snack. We use a variety of art materials and instruct students for the entire three hour period.
All camps cost $75 per artist (per morning/afternoon) and cost will increase to $100 Dec 2, 2026.
Winter Art Camps Descriptions
Winter Camp 2026-2027 sign up will be open for registration on October 9th, 2026
Junior Art Camps are designed for children ages 3-5 years and 4-5 years. All children must be fully potty trained. Junior Art Camps are sold as half days. (A child in this age range is not permitted to stay full day as there is no rest period.)
If your child has not attended a program 3 hours long before, this is a great place to start! We incorporate play time, stories, and snack time into this camp.
If your child is in Kindergarten and is confident with scissors and messy materials, they are ready for our 5-10 year old camps!

Gingerbread House Makers
Monday, Dec 21st 9-Noon
$75 through Dec 1st.
3-5 yrs. and 5-10 yrs.
Sparklers will imagine the gingerbread house of their dreams! What kind of theme will their house have? Will it be an ice castle house with frozen trees and a snowman? Or a colorful creation with twinkling lights? Sparklers will work to create an amazing one-of-a-kind gingerbread house using frosting, cookies, and more! (Gingerbread Houses will be glued together in advance and not be edible.)
Santa’s Gift Shop
Monday, Dec 21st 1-4 PM

4-5 yrs. and 6-10 yrs.
Let’s imagine and create gifts to give to loved ones this holiday season. Sparklers will list ideas of what to create before making sculpted and painted gifts! They will then wrap their gifts to take home!
Gingerbread House Advanced Camp

9-13 yrs.
Sparklers will imagine the gingerbread house of their dreams! What kind of theme will their house have? Will it be an ice castle house with frozen trees and snowman? Or a colorful creation with twinkling lights? Sparklers will work to create an amazing one-of-a-kind gingerbread house by learning how to texture paint to create a realistic gingerbread layer. Next, they will use puffy white paint to “pipe the frosting” designs on. These houses will be amazing keepsakes for years to come!
The Magic of Christmas Camp!

3-5 yrs. and 5-10 yrs.
In this whimsical camp, Sparklers will brainstorm what things make Christmas most magical? Is it the flying reindeer? The colorful lights? The magical snowglobes? We will ignite imagination as we create art inspired by the magic of Christmas! Will we perform magic tricks? Create wands? Make reindeer that can actually fly? It’s up to the Sparklers to decide.
North Pole Architects
Tuesday, Dec 22nd 1-4 PM
$75 through Dec 1st
4-5 yrs. and 6-10 yrs.
What does it look like up at the North Pole? Is there a barn for the reindeer? Elf housing quarters? An enchanted forest? A cookie bakery? Sparklers will imagine what Santa’s headquarters look like as they build miniature North Pole dioramas.
Gift Creators
Tuesday, Dec 22nd 5:30-8:30 PM

9-13 yrs.
We will create gifts for loved ones using a variety of art techniques. We may paint canvases, sculpt ornaments, or learn techniques in beading depending on what our advanced art students are interested in pursuing for this self-guided camp!
Santa’s Christmas Cafe
Wednesday, Dec 23rd 9-Noon

3-5 yrs. and 5-10 yrs.
What would it be like inside Santa’s Christmas Cafe? What would we need? Clay sculpted mugs? Hand drawn menus? Salt dough pastries? Sparklers will work to build an amazing Christmas cafe and everything that goes with it!
Beaded Tree Trimmers
Wednesday Dec 23rd 1-4 PM
$75 through Dec 1st
4-5 yrs. and 6-10 yrs.
In this camp, Sparklers will learn a variety of techniques in ornament creation. We will learn how to create images with beads and wire. We will also create snowflakes. We will have some very special ornaments to trim the tree with this holiday!
Giant 3-D Snowflakes

9-13 yrs.
Let’s make it a marshmallow world this year at the Art Spark studio! Advanced campers will create beautiful tie dyed doilies in wintery purples, blues, and green. While letting our doilies dry we will bead hanging streamers to attach to our snowflake decor. When doilies are dry we will glue them together to make giant hanging snowflake decorations to take home. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!
Frozen Forest
Monday, Dec 28th 9-Noon
$75 through Dec 1st
3-5 yrs. and 5-10 yrs.
Sparklers will learn the art of mixing cool colors to layer a wintry frozen forest canvas painting. We will also use mixed media techniques to add rich layers to our artwork.
Ski Resort Sculptors
Monday, Dec 28th 1-4 PM
$75 through Dec 1st
4-5 yrs. and 6-10 yrs.
Sparklers will create the ultimate imaginary ski resort! Will we need signs, maps, ski equipment, cabins, fireplaces, and restaurants? We will create our very own skiers using our sculpting hands with Model Magic, pipe cleaners, foam, markers, etc. We can’t wait to get this sky adventure started!
Snow Fairy Lanterns

Advanced campers will create magical winter fairy lanterns using glass mason jars, colorful tissue paper, delicate fairy silhouettes, and shimmering glitter “snow.” We can’t wait to begin on this sparkling, enchanted project perfect for winter magic room decor!
Snow Sprites
Tuesday, Dec 29th 9-Noon

3-5 yrs. and 5-10 yrs.
What lives inside snowflakes? Are there magical fairies? Sparklers will practice drawing techniques and create accessories inspired by the theme! What else will spark our imagination? Wands? Little Fairy Houses?
Pinch Pot Clay Animals
Tuesday, Dec 29th 1-4 PM

4-5 yrs. and 6-10 yrs.
Get ready for a chilly clay adventure! Campers will sculpt adorable pinch-pot Arctic animals like foxes, penguins, and snowy owls. They’ll add fun textures and scratch designs into the clay, then choose to paint their creations at camp or take home acrylic paints to finish them there!
Winter Printmaker’s Paradise
Tuesday, Dec 29th 5:30-8:30 PM

9-13 yrs.
Advanced campers will step into the world of printmaking! Using real printmaking tools, they’ll carve winter-inspired designs into easy-cut blocks, then ink and press their designs to create beautiful one-of-a-kind prints!
The Ice Age
Wednesday, Dec 30th 9-Noon

3-5 yrs. and 5-10 yrs.
Frozen caves, wooly mammoths, saber tooth tigers and more will spark imagination as we travel back in time to the ice age! Will we create paintings of caves? To begin camp, we will chisel animals out of blocks of ice and then ask the question, what was it like during the ice age? Sparklers will imagine, draw, sculpt and paint as they explore The Ice Age!
Snow Dragons and Ice Unicorns
Wednesday, Dec 30th 1-4 PM
$75 through Dec 1st
4-5 yrs. and 6-10 yrs.
Sparklers will let their imaginations run wild! Campers will transform soft fabrics into magical snow dragons or ice unicorn stuffies using a colorful buffet of art materials. We will use pom-poms, tie-dye, Sharpies, pipe cleaners, and so much more! Each camper will create a totally unique winter creature to take home!
New Year’s Felted Garlands
Wednesday, Dec 30th 5:30-8:30 PM

9-13 yrs.
Advanced campers will create a magical felted garland of stars, hearts, animals, etc. using beautiful felting wool in rich, vibrant colors. They’ll explore needle felting techniques while adding a touch of sparkle and glitter to create a whimsical decoration to take home!
Hot Chocolate Hotel

4-5 yrs. And 6-10 yrs.
Welcome to the coziest hotel in town! Campers will design and create their very own whimsical Hot Chocolate Hotel. How will we create our hot chocolate hotels? Will we need cardboard? Paint? Glitter? Who will work at our hotel? What types of delicious hot chocolate will they serve? We can’t wait to see and visit these fantastic vacation spots!
What is included?
All camps include all art materials and a snack. We use a variety of art materials and instruct students for the entire three hour period.
We let each camper choose 2 from the following:
We serve Annies Cheddar Bunnies, Annies Birthday Bunnies, Pure Organic Layered Fruit Bars, Skinny Pop (for 5-10 years), Annie's chocolate chip chewy bars, and Annies Fruit Snacks
What is your behavioral policy?
We are so excited to have your child joining us at The Art Spark! Our students will learn all about art and creativity while at the same time grow to be more independent. We know this can be a lot for them and always strive to teach with patience and kindness. We use a myriad of different art supplies with the children and as teachers we are sometimes handling hot glue guns, sharp scissors, box cutters, etc. We keep these away from the little ones, but if a student refuses to listen they could get hurt. We try to maintain an extremely safe atmosphere and listening to the teacher is number one in promoting a secure environment. To help create this environment, we ask that you speak to your child(ren) before class to encourage good listening, respect of the teacher and materials, importance of being kind to others, and staying with the teacher at all times. If your camper seems to be experiencing behavior issues we will follow our 1,2,3 policy below:
Step 1: Take action within the class to change the behavior.
Step 2: If the behavior doesn’t positively change within the day, we will reach out to our student’s parent or guardian to address the issue. This will be in a paper document called a "Think Sheet". A Think Sheet will help you and your child understand the behavior that needs to change the next time they come to The Art Spark.
Step 3: If said behavior continues to persist after the Think Sheet, we will unfortunately have the student stop class and refund the remaining time.
Immediate Removal
Please, note that The Art Spark WILL NOT tolerate aggressive behavior(i.e.hitting, kicking, biting, etc.) We will give the parent/ guardian a phone call to immediately remove the child and we will refund you. The purpose of this is to protect the rights of our teachers and the rights of other children who sometimes become victims of an aggressive child. As a general rule, aggressive behavior does not include running, sitting still, keeping hands to self, etc. in which occasional time-outs/ talks may be used. We hope this policy does not affect anyone, but we must protect the teacher’s rights and the rights of children in our care.
Please, also note that The Art Spark WILL NOT tolerate volatile, loud and angry outbursts/ tantrums that can’t be contained in a timely matter. Unfortunately, we are not in a large enough space or have a large enough staff/ aides to help with these type of issues. If your child struggles with loud noises, transitions, group settings, etc. The Art Spark’s programs might not be right for them. If we see this happening we reserve the right to ask a parent/ guardian to immediately remove the child and you will receive a full refund.
Please, note that when signing up for any Art Spark program you are agreeing to this policy.
What is the Winter camp cancellation policy?
Camp Cancellation Policy: Camp cancellation can occur more than 2 weeks prior to camp and a $35 fee is applied per camp. If you cancel two or more weeks in advance (before the camp your child is signed up for) you will receive a refund. If cancellation occurs less than two weeks prior to their camp you will not receive a refund or a credit. If cancellation occurs less than two weeks prior due to illness or an emergency you will receive a credit if requested prior to camp start date. No e-mail no show campers (prior to camp start) will not receive a refund or credit. Art materials will not be saved for children who miss camp. If you need to switch to a different camp e-mail us at create@theartspark.com. Please note there is a $15 fee to switch camps.
Can I stay for the class?
Our classes are drop off only and are designed for children to develop independence, confidence, and learn new techniques in art. Parents are always welcome to come inside and see what projects we are working on at the end!
