About the Job:

We are looking to hire a teacher to work the following days and times through May 2026. The current schedule is listed out below in detail. The schedule would change to be more hours during our summer camp season.
This is what your weekly schedule would look like! We bring the joy of art to different schools within the Cincinnati area! Most of our schools are within a 5 mile radius of Montgomery. You will need to have a reliable vehicle as you will be driving to these schools each day. This role requires the ability to lift, carry, and transport art supplies and equipment as we bring the joy of art to these schools via art on a cart! Please, note that carts can get heavy (sometimes we're making clay sculptures or using lots of paint)!
Schedule:
- Tuesdays: teach an afterschool class in Kenwood, from 2:50-4:30 PM// teach a class at our home studio from 5:30-7:45 PM
- Wednesdays: teach an afterschool class in Madeira from 3:15-5:15 PM
- Thursdays: teach an afterschool class in Indian Hill from 3-4:45 PM
- Fridays: teach an afterschool class in Indian Hill from 3-4:45 PM// teach a weekly evening event at our home studio from 5:15-8:45 PM
- Saturdays: lead birthday parties for children from 8:30 AM-12:30 PM + availability to help with other events as needed
We are looking for a person who has preferably worked in the field of early education/ art education with experience in the classroom. We’re an energetic team of art teachers who value children, creativity, and a work environment that promotes respect and kindness. Job Responsibilities:
- Lead teacher running fun, unique, and safe art classes to no more than 12-14 students at a time with an assistant.
- Be able to teach elementary-level painting, sculpting, and drawing skills.
- Work alongside the assistant to facilitate classroom management and behavioral correctional practices.
- Facilitate learning and independent thinking in students.
- Create a kind, respectful environment for school-age children.
- Be aware of materials that need organizing or cleaning at all times.
- Speaking with parents of children regarding behavioral issues.
Qualifications and Desired Characteristics:
- An enthusiastic attitude towards teaching and working with young children.
- Solution oriented mindset
- Respectful of diversity and the needs of individual children
- Eager to learn new techniques in art and education
- Works to establish rapport with students.
- Have experience in a children’s camp environment or classroom.
- Can communicate in a clear, kind, and respectful manner to parents.
- Always present a clean, professional appearance and follow a dress code.
- Is eager to better the classroom environment when there is free time. Such as organizing materials, sharpening pencils, cleaning, etc.
- Worked with classroom art materials of various kinds.
- Has basic to extensive knowledge of art basics.
- Exhibits punctuality.
- Demonstrate kindness, respect, and professionalism at all times.
- Flexible schedule
- Able to work with others and follow directions.
- A background check is required.

Kids dive into hands-on art adventures—painting murals, sculpting miniatures, and imagining the impossible! In addition to classes for many ages, we offer camps, birthday parties, and special events. We also bring after-school programs to schools across the city, inspiring curiosity and creativity in every young artist.
